Exploring the Dual Nature of AI in Art
The exhibition seeks to delve into the complexities of AI's integration into the artistic process, prompting artists to consider whether AI serves as a collaborative partner enhancing human creativity or as a disruptive force challenging traditional artistic paradigms. The theme "Symbiosis or Schism" encapsulates this dichotomy, encouraging a critical examination of AI's potential to both augment and undermine human artistic expression.
Organizers have articulated that the exhibition aims to "highlight concerns about AI" and "suggest paths forward for the successful, collaborative, and positive integration of AI into the art world and society in general". This approach underscores the exhibition's intent to foster a nuanced dialogue around the ethical, philosophical, and practical implications of AI in the arts.
